Northbrook College is seeking a visionary Lecturer to take our BA (Hons) Fine Art programme in bold new directions.
This is an exciting opportunity for an innovative practitioner and educator to shape the future of Fine Art education.
As Course Lead, you will be responsible for the strategic direction, development, and delivery of our HE Fine Art programme. You will ensure that our curriculum remains cutting-edge, relevant, and responsive to contemporary artistic practices and critical discourse. With a passion for experimentation and interdisciplinary collaboration, you will inspire students and staff alike to push the boundaries of Fine Art.
We have developed a course with a focus on contemporary and future-facing art practices including new and emerging technologies, materials, and critical perspectives and need an individual who can take these forward.
We are looking for an experienced and ambitious individual with:
* A background in Fine Art practice, with a Level 6 qualification in a related subject
* Experience in Higher Education teaching, assessing and curriculum development and quality assurance: including course development and curriculum design
* A commitment to student success, employability, and professional development.
* Ability to solve problems and make decisions
* Time management skills, organisational skills and the ability to meet targets and deadlines
* Innovative and creative in meeting the needs of learners
