Clinical Lead RNLD – Supported Living (Bath) Salary: £50,000–£55,000 a year £5,000 car allowance or company car Job type: Full-time, Permanent Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm (Hybrid: ~2 days WFH / 3 days community) Location: Bath & North East Somerset (field-based, regional travel) The role As Clinical Lead RNLD, you’ll oversee two supported-living packages for adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs—one involving highly complex behaviours that challenge. You’ll set clinical direction, drive governance and quality, and partner with ICB/commissioners and MDTs to secure the best outcomes. Key responsibilities In this Clinical Lead RNLD role, you will: Lead and stabilise complex LD packages; set escalation pathways and crisis/risk-reduction plans. Complete holistic/functional assessments; develop PBS-led, person-centred care plans with measurable outcomes. Coach and mentor nurses/support teams; deliver supervisions, reflective practice and competencies. Own clinical governance: incidents, investigations/RCA, safeguarding, documentation and CQC readiness. Liaise confidently with ICB/commissioners, CHC and local partners; evidence progress and negotiate package requirements. Monitor quality KPIs and implement continuous-improvement actions. About you We’re seeking a Clinical Lead RNLD (NMC-registered) with 2 years’ post-reg experience, proven leadership around extreme behaviours that challenge (LD/Autism), strong PBS/de-escalation/risk management skills, and confidence engaging with commissioners.
