The University of York is looking for a talented Digital Learning Specialist to join our People & Organisational Development (POD) team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role, responsible for creating high-quality, engaging and impactful digital learning interventions for staff across the University of York, supporting our most ambitious projects, including a major HR & Finance Transformation programme. The opportunity: In this dynamic and varied role, you’ll be a vital part of a collaborative team, working with HR colleagues and seeing your work have a tangible impact. You'll be part of a supportive team and get to contribute to a broad portfolio of projects, including: Transformation Support: Producing highly targeted, digital content to facilitate the successful implementation of our ambitious HR & Finance Transformation Programme (including the adoption of the new Workday system). Shaping the future of our workforce: Developing engaging digital materials to support the POD team's core programme of staff development activities (e.g. leadership, management and professional skills training). This is a fixed term post for 18 months. We’re looking for someone who: Has advanced digital creation skills combined with a practical understanding of learning design. Can provide expert guidance and technical support on digital learning best practice to colleagues Can digitise and enhance existing learning materials Enjoys working flexibly and collaboratively across a diverse range of programmes and projects. Can support the overall digital capability of staff across the University.
