We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse Associate to join our Primary Care team at HMP Onley, a Category C Prison located in Rugby.
Hours
37.5-hour week working on a 3-week rolling rota, with 10-hour and 11-hour shifts during the week, and 9-hour shifts during the weekend. 1 in 3 weekends, no night working.
This position is full-time, and you'll receive an annual salary up to £32,346 per annum FTE, depending on experience.

Candidates are required to have a legal right to work in the UK on a permanent basis, and due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks.
Main duties of the job
* Provide outstanding care to our patients, listening to and acting on their feedback to ensure care is personalised and informed by what matters to them
* Contribute to and implement care packages, assist with health promotion, wellbeing, clinics, and help patients with activities of daily living and personal care
* Deliver non-judgemental care, including health promotion clinics, observations, and supporting nursing and pharmacy teams in primary care within healthcare centres, wings, and house blocks
* Inspire excellence by forging strong links within our teams, partners, and stakeholders, providing a trustworthy, safe, and proud service
* Promote best practice, evidence-based care, and continuous quality improvement, embedding a culture of shared learning; promote patient wellbeing through our Wellbeing Approach, demonstrating empathy and understanding

Qualifications required:
* Qualified Nurse Associate
* Currently registered with the NMC
* Training to level 3 in safeguarding vulnerable people
* Demonstrate current/recent preceptorship pathway since joining the NMC register
* Evidence of post-registration CPD in relevant areas
Experience in hospital, community, or prison environments is desirable but not essential.
