Job Description
The Business are seeking a visionary and dynamic Managing Director. The successful candidate will provide strategic direction, operational oversight, and inspirational leadership to all staff to drive the company's growth, profitability, and market competitiveness. As the main point of communication between our parent company and our operations, the Managing Director will ensure alignment with the mission, vision, and stakeholder expectations.Key Responsibilities:
3. Develop and execute business strategies to drive growth and market competitiveness.
4. Lead and manage the Executive Leadership team and all staff, providing guidance and support.
5. Provide strategic advice to ensure an accurate view of the market and the company's future.
6. Prepare and implement comprehensive business plans for cost-effective operations and market development.
7. Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.
8. Maintain and grow key customer relationships at the highest level.
9. Communicate and maintain trusted relationships with stakeholders, business partners, and regulatory authorities.
10. Oversee the company's financial performance, investments, and business ventures.
11. Manage financial resources, budgets, and investments prudently.
12. Drive organisational change and transformation initiatives.
13. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
The Successful Applicant
14. Proven track record in as a Managing Director or Executive within pharmaceutical, Animal Health, or Health-care Industry.
15. Ideally within a regulated health-care/Pharmaceutical/Animal Health Wholesale or Distribution or Logistics Sector.
16. Previous P&L leadership with strong Financial and business acumen.
17. Successfully delivered a successful Commercial Strategy leading a business through profitable growth.
18. Strong background in working with a complex, multi-faceted operation within regulated industry.
19. Exceptional strategic planning and business development skills.
20. Inspirational leader who leads a strong value based organisation with focus on its people and customers.
Qualifications:
21. BSc/BA in Scientific, Business Administration, management, finance, or a relevant field. Masters degree and MBA would be beneficial.
