Great opportunity to work as a Hygiene Operative for our client, a major UK baking business that produces bread, flour, and other bakery products, supplying supermarkets and food retailers nationwide. Staffline is recruiting Hygiene Operatives in Nottingham. The rate of pay is £12.21 per hour. This role offers ad-hoc shifts on both days and nights. The hours of work are: - 6am to 6pm - 6pm to 6am Due to the site's location, workers are required to have their own transport unless they are able to travel for both day and night shifts using the Rainbow One bus route. Your Time at Work As a Hygiene Operative your duties include: - Cleaning and sanitising all surfaces, floors, and fixtures throughout the site to maintain hygiene standards. - Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming production and non‑production areas to remove dirt and debris. - Deep clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and touchpoints. - Empty waste bins, safely dispose of rubbish, and follow correct waste‑handling procedures. - Refill cleaning materials, maintain equipment, and report any issues or shortages to supervisors. Our Perfect Worker Our perfect worker will need good physical stamina and be able to stand and walk for long periods. You will have the ability to perform repetitive movements, such as bending, lifting, scrubbing, and reaching. Applicants will be reliable, punctual and have good communication skills. No previous experience is necessary as full training is provided.
