Operations Supervisor
We’re looking for a motivated and hands-on Supervisor to lead our recycling, waste collection. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a key leadership role where your decisions make a real impact on local communities and environmental services.
Working closely with the Operations Manager, you’ll take ownership of daily operations, ensuring services run smoothly, safely, and efficiently.
What You’ll Be Doing
1. Leading and coordinating daily operations – from crew deployment to vehicle and equipment allocation
2. Ensuring services are delivered on time and meet contractual standards
3. Managing and supporting frontline teams, including performance, attendance, and development
4. Overseeing schedules and resources to keep everything running efficiently
5. Promoting a strong health & safety culture and ensuring full compliance
6. Monitoring performance and quickly resolving operational issues
7. Building strong relationships with Local Authority clients and stakeholders
8. Identifying ways to improve services and drive additional value
What We’re Looking For
9. Experience in a supervisory or team leader role (waste, logistics, or similar operational environment preferred)
10. Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
11. Confident communicator with the ability to lead and motivate teams
12. Good understanding of health & safety practices
