Brokerage OfficerLocation: Trowbridge (hybrid)Contract: Initial 3 monthsHours: 37 per weekRate: £35 per hour (Umbrella) (£27 PAYE an hour)Wiltshire Council is seeking an experienced Brokerage Officers to join the team on an initial 3-month contract.Our Brokerage Team is responsible for sourcing care packages and placements for vulnerable adults and children, ensuring the best value and quality of service for those in need.In this role, you will:
* Source services and placements for a range of needs in Adult and Children’s Social Care.
* Run tender offers and negotiate with providers to secure high-quality, cost-effective solutions.
* Think creatively to identify and resource the most suitable care packages.
* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure brokerage activity meets needs and corporate requirements.
* Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
About you:We’re looking for professionals who can thrive under pressure, coordinate workloads effectively, and maintain a customer-focused approach. You will have:
* Previous experience in care brokerage, commissioning, or placement sourcing.
* Strong organisational and negotiation skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant IT systems.
