4 on 4 off | Day Shift | 5:00am - 5:00pmCoventryA leading FMCG manufacturing business is seeking an experienced and driven Production Supervisor to join its fast-paced operation in Coventry. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised production professional with strong leadership skills and experience within manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, or food production environments.The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing production operations, coordinating teams, managing SAP processes, and ensuring products are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time.The RoleReporting to the Production Manager, the Production Controller will be responsible for overseeing and optimising daily production activities across the operation. You will lead a large production team, ensure production plans are achieved, maintain stock accuracy and traceability, and drive operational performance across shift.This role requires someone who can work effectively in a fast-moving environment, make decisions quickly, and communicate confidently across multiple departments.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate Production Supervisors, SAP Administrators, and Production Operatives across shiftCreate and implement production plans in line with customer demand and delivery schedulesMonitor production performance, labour utilisation, downtime, waste, and operational efficiencyEnsure products are scanned correctly and maintain full stock and product traceabilityLead SAP-related production processes and ensure accurate production order managementOversee daily production stock reconciliation and resolve stock discrepanciesEnsure all production activities meet quality, hygiene, and Health & Safety standardsAnalyse production data and identify opportunities for continuous improvementSupport recruitment, training, development, and performance management across the teamCollaborate with Warehouse, Planning, Technical, and Engineering departments to ensure operational successAbout YouPrevious experience within a Production Controller, Production Supervisor, Shift Manager, Warehouse Supervisor, or Manufacturing leadership roleExperience working within FMCG, food manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, or fast-paced production environmentsStrong people management experience, leading large operational teamsGood working knowledge of SAP systems and production reportingConfident using Excel and other computer-based systemsStrong organisational and planning skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectivelyAble to react quickly and make sound operational decisions under pressureClear written and verbal communication skillsPassionate about driving performance, standards, and continuous improvementWhat's on OfferCompetitive salary and benefits package4 on 4 off day shift pattern offering excellent work-life balanceOpportunity to join a well-established and growing manufacturing businessLong-term career progression opportunitiesSupportive leadership team and collaborative working environmentIf you are an experienced production or warehouse professional looking for your next challenge within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, we would love to hear from you.As you know over here at Zest we like to do things properly and always want to keep you, the candidate in the loop.
