In this role, you will provide expert guidance and support to social work teams, ensuring that best practices are implemented and maintained across all cases.
Responsibilities
* Leading and managing complex casework, ensuring adherence to statutory requirements and best practice standards.
* Providing supervision and support to social workers, fostering their professional development and enhancing team performance.
* Conducting assessments and developing intervention plans in collaboration with families and other professionals.
* Participating in multi-agency meetings, advocating for the needs of children and families.
* Contributing to the development of policies and procedures that improve service delivery.
Qualifications
* A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent).
* Current registration with Social Work England.
* Significant experience in child protection and children in need cases.
* Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to partnership working.
