Staffline is recruiting candidates to work as a Production Operative within an abattoir environment at our clients' beef processing site. This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday and the hours of work are: - 6:30am to finish (around 1.30pm-2.30pm The rate of pay is £13.59 per hour. Overtime is available and is paid at £17.00 per hour. Production bonuses ranging from £30 to £80 per week may be available based on performance! Duties to include packing tripe, weighing offal etc and trays can weigh 20-25kg. Your Time at Work The responsibilities of a Production Operative include: - Removing hides, heads and internal organs as required - Trimming and preparing carcasses for further processing, inspecting carcasses and identifying visible defects or contamination - Separating edible and non-edible by-products correctly - Maintaining the cleanliness of the workstation during operations - Following food safety, hygiene and biosecurity procedures - Working in line with health and safety regulations - Wearing required protective clothing and PPE at all times Our Perfect Worker Our ideal Production Operative will be flexible, reliable, and keep in line with health and safety standards.
