Experience required…
Essential:
* UK Experience within a public, private or third sector UK based client.
* Proven experience in leading and managing a range of Highways projects from conception to completion.
* Involvement in the full project lifecycle, including budget / finance control and progress reporting.
* In‑depth knowledge of highway design principles, standards and practices including alignment, grading, drainage, and pavement design.
* Skilled user of design software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients, Elected Members, stakeholders and team members / colleagues.
* Ability to prepare detailed reports, documentation and presentations.
* Understanding and appreciation of CDM regulations.
* HNC, HND, BEng, BSc, MEng, MSc or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
* A full UK driving licence is essential.
Desirable:
* Work towards professional qualification (IEng / CEng) with the ICE / IHE / CIHT or similar.
