Here at Pet Doctors Isle of Wight HUB, we are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, and caring veterinary surgeon to join our dedicated team on the Isle of Wight. Our ideal candidate would have exotics experience, but we welcome applications from other areas of interest.
Along with the opportunity to join our veterinary team, you will be encouraged to continue your professional development in practice.
The role is full-time, 40 hours, but we are open to considering part-time applications. Ideally, we are looking for someone with surgical experience or a surgical bias.
We believe in learning and nurturing our vet talent, offering structured support and development of clinical skills, with potential support in gaining a fully funded certificate. You will join a team of certificate holders (or those working towards) in Surgery, Cardiology, ECC, Internal Medicine, and Dermatology. Our IOW vet teams collaborate on Clinical Excellence projects, regular vet meetings, case reviews, and dedicated CPD days held in-house for team learning and growth.
Who are we?
Our IOW hub comprises a Veterinary Hospital and three branches across the island.
The Isle of Wight offers beautiful countryside, beach walks, historic landmarks, and local produce and eateries.
Our RCVS-accredited hospital features five consult rooms, two surgery suites, in-house lab, ultrasound scanner, digital and dental x-rays, CT scanner, and endoscopy. Each branch has three to four consult rooms, a theatre, in-house labs, and imaging suites. All feed into our main hospital for overnight care, provided by our dedicated OOH team.
