Job Description
In this role, you will support the design and policy development of our Business Travel Tax Program across various regions. Reporting to the EMEA Business Travel Tax Program Lead, you will oversee activities within the EMEA region and collaborate with diverse stakeholders. This position is ideal for someone passionate about global mobility and tax compliance, eager to make a significant impact within a leading organization.
As a Global Business Travel Tax Associate in our Global Mobility team, you will refine tax reporting and withholding processes for employees traveling on behalf of the firm. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a large-scale Business Travel Tax Program within a dynamic, global team.
Job Responsibilities
1. Conduct analysis of regional business travel compliance requirements to inform policy recommendations.
2. Coordinate program delivery, including process, policy, reporting, and technology, with regional support.
3. Facilitate annual enrollment in the Business Travel Tax Program for the region.
4. Develop and deliver training for participants, HR, and stakeholders.
5. Build partnerships with global team members to meet deliverables, including requests, payroll, and tax filings.
6. Participate in implementing global initiatives, including project management.
7. Collaborate with Change Management and Communications teams to improve user experience.
8. Partner with Employment and Corporate Tax teams to approve tax positions for extended travel cases.
9. Work with external advisors for tax advice and tool upgrades.
10. Address queries from employees and HR regarding the program and policies.
11. Support travel reviews and clarify tax positions for business travelers to Germany.
12. Analyze high-risk travel locations in EMEA and support ad hoc projects.
13. Evaluate processes for efficiencies and improvements.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
* Experience in HR tax, payroll, or operations.
* Experience with global processes and high-volume projects.
* Strong analytical skills and data research capabilities.
* Attention to detail and issue resolution skills.
* Data literacy and strategic thinking.
* Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
* Knowledge of project management lifecycle.
* Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Self-motivated with ability to manage multiple deadlines.
* Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
