Business Development Manager - Rail (Light Rail)
Agile, with UK travel required.
We are seeking an experienced sales professional to join our growing Rail team focused on UK Light Rail. This role involves working from home with travel to Light Rail clients and prospects across the UK as needed.
Responsibilities include:
* Developing and executing sales strategies for the UK Light Rail market.
* Driving sales and profit growth within the Rail business for Light Rail.
* Engaging with stakeholders in local authorities, transport operators, government, and infrastructure partners.
* Maintaining customer satisfaction and advocacy.
* Collaborating with bid and proposal teams on customer proposals.
* Account management of existing Light Rail clients.
* Using data to generate leads and sell group solutions and Telent capabilities.
* Maintaining accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reports using Salesforce.
Candidate requirements:
Previous experience as a Business Development or Sales Manager in the UK Light Rail sector, with:
* Account management and sales experience in the Light Rail market.
* A proactive approach to new business development.
* Understanding of market and procurement processes.
* Ability to build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders.
* Experience with data analysis for solution development.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
* Collaboration skills with the wider team.
