We are seeking an Employment Solicitor to join a market-leading Legal 500 firm known for the calibre and influence of its employment department. The firm is widely respected for combining technical excellence with a highly commercial approach, advising employers and individuals on some of the most sensitive and strategically important workplace issues, from complex contentious matters to strategic, non-contentious advisory work. The role offers a high level of autonomy and responsibility and the work is stimulating, diverse and genuinely engaging, with involvement in complex and high-profile matters, to include:
1. Managing employment tribunal claims
2. Advising on unfair and wrongful dismissal
3. Redundancy and settlement agreements
4. Handling discrimination and whistleblowing matters
5. Disciplinary and grievance procedures
6. Drafting and reviewing contracts of employment and workplace policies
You should have excellent communications skills, a strong technical ability and a polished, professional manner. A commitment to exceptional client care is essential, along with the willingness to collaborate, share knowledge and contribute to a positive team environment.
