A leading manufacturer in the automotive industry is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in process engineering, continuous improvement, and new product introduction (NPI), looking to make a tangible impact across two key production facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support NPI activities by attending project meetings and ensuring process governance.
* Lead PFMEA development and maintain robust Work Instructions.
* Collaborate with Quality teams to uphold standards through Control Plans.
* Act as a key stakeholder in change management processes (PCRs).
* Drive process reviews, line trials, and Run @ Rate activities.
* Promote standardisation and best practice sharing across both sites.
What You’ll Be Accountable For:
* Implementation and governance of manufacturing documentation and processes.
* Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and systematic process audits.
* Ensuring alignment and consistency across both manufacturing locations.
What We’re Looking For:
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
* Strong understanding of automotive manufacturing processes.
* Proven track record in project delivery and process improvement.
* Excellent communication and influencing skills across cross-functional teams.
* Experience with PFMEA, Control Plans, and Work Instructions.
