We are looking for an Operations Coordinator to join our growing Group Operations Hub at Blackfinch!
The Operations Coordinator plays a pivotal role within the Group Operations Hub (GOH) to support and deliver business operations across the organisation in alignment with the company’s strategic roadmap. The role is integral to the effective planning, execution, and monitoring of operations and change across departments, with a strong emphasis on stakeholder engagement. As an ambassador of our core values Adapt, Evolve & Thrive, the Operations Coordinator will drive continuous improvement and support the successful transformation of systems, processes, products, and governance models.
Key Responsibilities
* Scope and define business changes in alignment with strategic business objectives.
* Conduct stakeholder analysis, process mapping, and gap analysis to identify business needs, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
* Translate business challenges into clearly structured business requirement documentation and process diagrams.
* Liaise with engineering, product, and compliance teams to ensure business requirements are well understood, traceable, and testable.
* Support business case development and impact assessments for proposed changes.
* Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
* Monitor project progress and hold regular meetings with stakeholders to ensure they are informed of progress.
* Collaborate with stakeholders across all teams to collect, define, and validate business requirements, which then feed into the GOH roadmap.
* Translate business needs into structured documentation for Engineering and other support teams.
* Facilitate quarterly planning meetings and regular stakeholder engagement workshops to gather feedback and drive alignment.
* Maintain strong communication with cross-functional teams including Compliance, Risk, IT, Investments, Customer Services, and Marketing.
* Support governance activities by maintaining clear documentation of approvals, risks, and business cases.
* Prepare and deliver regular status reports and updates to the Operations Director.
* Support the testing and implementation process including UAT coordination and deployment tracking.
* Conduct post-implementation reviews to measure the success and identify learnings.
* Log and track issues, ensuring they are resolved and fed back into future planning.
* Support operational readiness and embed lessons learned into ongoing process improvements.
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in a business analysis, operations, or project coordination role within Financial Services.
* Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organisational and planning capabilities with attention to detail.
* Experience managing multiple workstreams and priorities.
* Strong documentation and reporting skills.
Qualifications
* You will either hold or be willing to work towards a relevant project management qualification or industry qualification such as the CISI’s Investment Operations Certificate.
