Lecturer - Counselling and/or Mental Health/Psychology
Location: Kingston upon Thames, Greater London
Salary: £39,678 - £47,736 per annum, plus up to 53 days +
Contract: Permanent; Fixed Term Contract (Maternity Cover), Full Time

Responsibilities
* Deliver scheduled training, assessment/evaluation and feedback and pastoral support as part of the Access, Mental Health and Wellbeing curriculum area.
* Contribute to the delivery of Access programmes credited by the OCN and help learners progress onto degree-related programmes.
* Support the expansion of Health and Wellbeing programmes for learners aged 16-18 and adults returning to education.
* Be a creative, resourceful and effective educator who conveys knowledge, develops skills, and challenges, mentors and motivates students.
* Offer effective feedback and monitor and record students' progress; maintain good IT skills and adapt to college IT systems.
Requirements
* Professional qualification in Psychology, Mental Health or Social Science (minimum L6 Diploma or Honours Degree).
* Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards) and excellent teaching skills in Counselling or Mental Health/Psychology.
