About the Role:
As a Contract Fire Stopping Manager, you will oversee the full lifecycle of fire stopping contracts, from planning through to successful delivery. You’ll manage day-to-day operations, ensure compliance with fire safety standards, and lead teams across multiple locations, primarily across the Midlands and London.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage contract documentation including RAMS (Risk Assessments & Method Statements) and health & safety files.
*
Monitor changes in health and safety legislation, updating procedures and practices accordingly.
*
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, colleagues, and suppliers.
*
Supervise the installation and inspection of fire stopping systems to ensure quality and compliance.
*
Plan resource allocation and logistics to ensure smooth on-site operations.
*
Conduct site surveys and attend client meetings as required, own transport and a valid UK driving licence are essential.
*
Engage in ongoing professional development, with opportunities for further training including SMSTS and industry accreditation.
About You:
*
NVQ Level 3 in Fire Stopping (or equivalent).
*
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the fire protection industry.
*
Proven leadership, organisational and time management skills.
*
Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
*
FIRAS or Q-Mark experience is advantageous but not essential.
*
Professional, proactive, and able to work independently.
*
Willing to travel and support occasional weekend work as needed.
