The Role:
* Delivering engaging PSHE lessons tailored to meet the needs of students with SEND
* Leading nurture-based interventions to support emotional wellbeing, behaviour, and social development
* Creating a safe, supportive, and structured learning environment
* Working closely with teaching assistants, pastoral teams, and external professionals
* Developing individualised strategies to support students' personal growth and learning
* Promoting positive behaviour, self-regulation, and independence
The Ideal Candidate:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience working with students with SEND, particularly those with social, emotional, and mental health needs (SEMH)
* A strong understanding of nurture principles and trauma-informed practice
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* A patient, resilient, and empathetic approach
* A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education
