Help Keep Buckinghamshire Moving This Winter! Are you ready to make a real difference in your community? Join Balfour Beatty as a Winter Maintenance Driver and play a vital role in keeping roads safe during the colder months.
We’re looking for reliable, safety-conscious drivers to support our Winter Service Delivery team. You’ll be responsible for salting highways and clearing snow to ensure safe travel for all road users.
What you'll be doing
* Carry out winter gritting and snow clearance on designated routes.
* Perform daily vehicle checks and ensure vehicles are refuelled post-shift.
* Follow fleet movement procedures and maintain high safety standards.
* Be available on a standby rota every other week from 1st October to 30th April.
* Respond to daily shift notifications based on weather forecasts.
Who we\'re looking for
Essential
* Full clean driving licence
* Class C Licence
* CPC qualification
* Strong commitment to health & safety
* Reliable, adaptable, and a team player
* Good communication and customer service skills
Desirable (training Provided If Needed)
* Winter Service Units 513 and 580
* Tacho Card
