A night enhancement of £1.50 per hour applies from 8pm to 7am, Monday to Sunday (excluding sleep-ins). A weekend day enhancement of £2.00 per hour is paid from 7am to 8pm on Saturday and Sunday.

As a Registered Nurse with Leonard Cheshire, you will be responsible for providing the highest standards of nursing, clinical, and personal support to our clients as outlined in Person-Centred Plans. You will order and administer medication, ensure its safe storage, and record all information in accordance with internal procedures and NMC guidelines.
You will effectively lead a support staff team, ensuring smooth and efficient shift management. You will prioritize and plan tasks, delegate activities appropriately, and ensure our clients' needs are met within a safe and caring environment.
You will support ongoing assessments, observe changes in health and well-being, and maintain accurate records. You will assist clients with physical care, personal hygiene, and daily tasks.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse.
* Thorough and up-to-date knowledge of nursing theory and best practices at the qualified nurse level (Level 5).
* An understanding of the NMC code of conduct and relevant practice standards and guidance.
* Effective nursing practice in all basic registered nurse procedures.
* Flexibility to work rostered hours and on-call shifts as required.
