Client Experience and Events Manager - EMEIA

As the Client Experience and Events Manager – UK & Europe, you will support the development of the regions experiential marketing strategy and oversee the planning and execution of all regional events including new product launches, VIP client experiences, prospecting and community building events.

Reporting to the Head of Brand, Client and Communications – UK & Europe, you will focus on creating initiatives that deliver strong ROI and create meaningful interactions with the Brand to drive a thriving McLaren community. You will establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, acting as an ambassador for the McLaren brand and ensure consistency of messaging and adherence to the McLarens Global Brand standards.


What You’ll Do

* Develop positive and productive relationships with key partners (suppliers, agencies, official partners) central and regional teams.
* Support the EUROPE leadership team with ad hoc reporting, including event updates and reviews.
* Work in close collaboration with the regional sales and marketing team to align all regional activities with retailer initiatives.
* Create regular reporting for the wider regional team including effectiveness of activities and learnings for future benefits across the network. Integrate and leverage global customer initiatives and events (i.e. FoS, Pure events etc..) to ensure appropriate amplification and reach of all McLaren Branded activities across the region.
* Identify and implement innovative solutions and technologies to personalize and enhance customer interactions across all touchpoints.
* Implement a client feedback loop to continuously gather insights and identify opportunities to surprise and delight clients.
* Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, acting as an ambassador for the McLaren brand.
* Develop partnerships with luxury brands and local influencers to enhance the prestige and outreach of McLaren events.
* Prepare and present regular reports to the EUROPE leadership team, highlighting program achievements, areas for improvement, and strategic recommendations.
* Lead post-event evaluations to measure success and identify areas for improvement to enhance future events.
* Utilise data analytics to provide actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement in client experience.
* Develop and implement comprehensive client engagement initiatives that enhance the overall customer experience for McLaren clients.
* Define and implement metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of customer experience initiatives and events, ensuring alignment with the wider commercial objectives.
* Manage the regional events budget, negotiate contracts, and oversee logistics to ensure all events are executed flawlessly and deliver exceptional client experiences.
* Ensure adherence to the McLarens Global Brand standards across all customer touchpoints and regional activations.
* Design, plan, and execute all regional activations, including product launches, client appreciation events, exclusive driving experiences, and prospecting activities.


What You’ll Bring

* Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, or a related field
* Minimum 7+ years creating luxury client experiences, ideally with an automotive brand.
* Strong project management skills with a demonstrated ability to lead complex projects from concept to completion.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence clients and stakeholders at all levels.
* Creative thinker with the ability to develop unique event concepts and solutions.
* Highly organized with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Clear ability to develop and foster working relationships to influence at all levels of a global organization.
* Knowledge of McLaren’s racing and road car heritage will be an advantage
* Excellent and influential communicator with equivalent negotiation skills
* Fluent in English, a second language being of advantage in this role

* Passion for luxury vehicles and the automotive industry.
* Ability to communicate confidently with leadership teams in McLaren and at retailers.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, both verbally & written.
* Passion - demonstrating great drive to achieve outstanding results.
* Good commercial acumen and the ability to rapidly understand the broader business context of automobile production, sales and aftersales is critical.
* Willing to drive projects which are not directly related to the day-to-day job role, but integral to Regional success.
* Comfortable at taking directions, but also able to contribute to strategy and tactical measures.
* Team player & team motivator.
* Strong planning and follow up skills, meticulous in detail.
* Fluent to native standard in verbal & written English.

Comfortable with Travel and representing McLaren at key events within the region.
