Job Description
The International HR Advisor/ Junior HRBP works closely with the EMEAA HR Business Partner, supporting the management of HR activities across the EMEAL Business Unit. The role contributes to delivering HR services to all EMEAA employees outside Italy, USA, and Canada, and supports colleagues and People Managers within the UK-based AEI HUB, in coordination with the UK HR team and Regional HR Business Partners.
The role combines strong responsibility in international HR Operations with a growing contribution in HR Business Partnering, specifically:
* Providing expert knowledge and guidance on Asahi’s UK-based HR processes, policies and practices, acting as a key point of contact for HUB HR Business Partners and EMEAA HRBP in executing administrative and transactional HR activities
* Managing EMEAA entities HOPS Employee Central and Comp modules, ensuring accuracy of the HR system and data for all employees
* Managing EMEAA’s international HR Operations, payroll and benefits (outside USA and Canada)
* Contributing to the implementation of HR initiatives aligned with business priorities, providing operational support in areas such as talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, learning & development, and compensation & benefits
* Supporting data-driven decision-making through HR metrics analysis and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. With a proactive and collaborative mindset, the role helps foster a positive work environment and supports the development of a strong organisational culture
What You Will Deliver (Key Deliverables & Responsibilities)
UK based HUB (AEI)
* Key point of contact for UK HR Operations with HRBPs and line managers for all Asahi’s UK based HR processes and procedures, including employee lifecycle, payroll and benefits, relocation and ER
* Manage AEI and APB sponsor licences and all associated immigration activities
* Manage the tracking of AEI contractors, including IR35 compliance processes
* Support local managers, HRBPs and Centres of Excellence in managing day‑to‑day HR topics, ensuring consistent application of company policies and practices
All EMEAA with focus on EMEAL (currently Switzerland, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Spain and Colombia)
* Own International HR policies – Working with local advisors to cascade AEI policies, amending where required and reviewing and updating as necessary. Ensure policies are accessible and communicated appropriately to the wider business
* Manage international payroll and benefits through local partners and providers
* Accountable for the maintenance and accuracy of employee files, including compliance with local data regulations
* Act as EMEAA owner for HOPS with focus on Employee Central and Comp modules
* Supporting managers with organisational matters such as role changes, promotions and organisational communications
* Collect, analyse and report HR data to support decision-making and continuous improvement
* Support managers and HRBP in handling day‑to‑day HR topics related to Asahi people processes (Talent, performance, C&B, recruitment etc)
* Develop and manage people processes from onboarding new hires to exit interviews
* Coordinate relocation processes, including liaison with the HUB Mobility team and external relocation agents; adhere to the Relocation policy, ensuring appropriate support is offered to employees after obtaining relevant approvals
* Track progress for mandatory company training such as competition law, GDPR and anti‑bribery
* Coordinate DE&I, wellbeing and volunteering activities
Academic Background
Experience & Qualification Requirements
* University/Bachelor degree (or equivalent) preferred
* Part‑qualified or qualified CIPD or equivalent HR qualification
Experience
* Partly or fully CIPD qualified (level 5 or above)
* Experience working within an HR function (preferably with advisory experience)
* Understanding of HR processes, policies and employee lifecycle activities
* Experience in an international corporate environment
* Experience in compensation & benefits processes, including salary review cycles, market benchmarking and reward data handling
* Understanding of payroll processes and the ability to work with sensitive and confidential data
* Experience handling employee lifecycle processes end‑to‑end
* Experience supporting change or transformation initiatives is an advantage
* Strong learning agility and ability to work effectively with remote and cross‑cultural teams across different countries
* Proficiency in English
* Proficient in MS Office
* Experience working with HR systems, preferably SAP Success Factors
