We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy team at HMP Hollesely Bay, a category D Prison and Young Offenders Institution near Woodbridge in Suffolk.
In this role you'll be working with a multi-disciplinary team that will support you and help you succeed.
The working hours are:
Monday - Friday: 08:15 16:15
Saturdays (1 in 4): 07:00 15:00
This position is full time,youll receive an annual salary up to30,660per annum - depending on experience.

Main duties of the job
4. As a Pharmacy Technician, your responsibilities will vary. You will
5. Assist with the provision and delivery of an integrated, safe, legal, high-quality prison pharmaceutical service, taking into consideration, at all times, the need to maintain a high level of security.
6. Hold direct patient contact, which will be part be of a comprehensive healthcare package, based on the prison services needs

Qualifications & Experience required
16. NVQ Level 3, or above, BTEC or equivalent
17. Up to date with Continual Professional Development (CPD)
18. Relevant post-qualification pharmacy experience
19. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
20. Able to work unsupervised whilst following policy and procedures
Although not essential ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment.

Asa GPHC registered pharmacy technician with Practice Plus Group you will;
Provide outstanding qualitybased patient centred care to our patients seeking out, listening to and actingon their feedback so that care is personalised and informed by what matters tothem. Focussing on providing a safe and secure medicines management service, ensuringpatient medical records are maintained to the agreed standard at all times andensuring standard operating procedures are followed to a high and orderlystandard.
Deliver non-judgemental carewithin the scope of professional standards. Involving anything from the timelyadministration of medicines through to analysing cost effective prescribing asdefined through our unique health in justice medicines policy. You will make areal difference by working as a key member of a multidisciplinary team ofhealthcare professionals.
