About the role
The successful candidate will provide strong leadership in curriculum development and design, creating an engaging learning environment aligned with our Learning philosophy.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading the implementation and continuous enhancement of the curriculum, ensuring alignment with our Learning Philosophy and the learner journey.
* Delivering and reporting on quality performance targets and student/apprentice outcomes.
* Managing all aspects of curriculum delivery, including recruitment, enrolment, retention, achievement, and overall success.
* Supporting the induction and ongoing development of teachers and assessors to strengthen team performance and elevate teaching, learning, and assessment practices-ultimately improving the student experience and outcomes.
What do you need to be a successful Curriculum Manager at Activate Learning?
As the curriculum manager, you will have:
* Experience of working in Construction and/or Engineering is essential, with knowledge of BTEC, C&G qualifications and apprenticeship standards.
* Bring proven leadership experience at Faculty Management level, along with a deep understanding of evidence-based teaching, learning, and assessment-and how to evaluate them effectively.
* Have a strong track record of raising standards and learner outcomes. Alongside a teaching qualification, you will demonstrate advanced practitioner skills and leading-edge teaching practice.
* Exhibit an inspiring and authentic leadership style, with excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing abilities.
* Demonstrate the attributes, behaviours, and proven commitment essential to our Learning Philosophy-led culture, where learners and learning are at the heart of everything we do.
