Job Title: Vehicle Technician : LCV/HGV
Location: Wednesbury
Reporting To: Fleet Manager
Salary: basic from A GBP 42,000 p/a
Main Responsibilities
* Utilising your technical knowledge to carry out services, repairs and maintenance on customer vehicles, including mechanical work
* Carry out vehicle health checks and road test vehicles to ensure they are safe and road worthy
* Carry out mechanical, electrical and engine repair work, where required
* Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify potential problems and recommend appropriate solutions
* Utilise diagnostic equipment to accurately identify and address issues with Renault
* Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of repairs
* Maintain a clean, organised and safe workspace
* Communicate successfully with teams where needed to explain repair findings and recommendations
Skills, Knowledge and Behaviours
* Minimum of a level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
* Experience in wiring and camera maintenance
* Car service and repair experience
* Full and valid UK driving licence
* Vehicle technical knowledge
* Great attention to detail
* Strong organisational skills
