Responsibilities & Qualifications
Your role will be both hands‑on and problem‑solving‑oriented, diagnosing and resolving technical issues to keep equipment operating at peak efficiency. You’ll also guard preventative maintenance, conducting essential check‑ups that keep our fleet running smoothly.
Travel to various customer locations, bringing expertise to service Linde forklifts and other state‑of‑the‑art material handling equipment. Forge strong relationships and deliver exceptional support.
We are interested in candidates with experience as vehicle technicians or mechanical engineers, particularly those who have worked as forklift technicians, plant fitters, plant technicians, or vehicle technicians. Experience with plant equipment, powered access equipment, agricultural machinery, motor vehicles, or industrial cleaners is highly desirable.
* Ideally you will have an NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) qualification, although this is not essential.
* Comfortable using IT equipment is essential.
* You must hold a full UK driving licence.
* Comfortable working autonomously and within a team.
