A successful family‑owned building company that specialises in insurance repairs is looking for a Contracts Manager to join its established team due to new long‑term contracts. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a busy office in a fast‑paced environment.
As Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for the supervision of multiple insurance claims, ensuring they are completed efficiently and to policyholders' satisfaction.
Responsibilities
* Overseeing the management of multiple insurance claims from start to completion
* Managing in‑house tradesmen and subcontractors
* Programming, sequencing, and sourcing materials to effect successful repairs
* Controlling labour, subcontractors, and material costs
* Conducting site visits for meetings with policyholders and tradesmen
* Office‑based planning and communications
Qualifications
* Demonstrable proven track record in a similar role with a strong background in building trades
* Experience of insurance re‑instatement would be a great advantage, however not essential. Onboarding process and suitable training will be provided
* Excellent communication skills within the team environment
* Experience in a similar customer‑facing role within the building trade is advantageous
* Experience running a team of tradespeople would be an advantage
* H&S knowledge
The role would be a perfect opportunity for a tradesperson to move from on the tools to in the office environment.
In return, you will receive a company van, and a salary of up to £45,000 per annum depending on experience (hourly paid based on a 45‑hour standard week 07:00‑17:00, Monday‑Thursday. 07:00‑14:30pm on a Friday – hours negotiable).
