Are you a Construction Disputes Lawyer looking to work in a leading, value driven construction team with strong recognition in the independent legal directories?
You may be at a big firm where workloads are piled onto you, keeping you under the cosh. Or, you may feel pressured to do more fee earning, with limited client contact outside of billable hours.
Progressing from Associate or Senior Associate up towards Partner is a challenging milestone in your career. Having exposure not only to good quality work but hands-on exposure to clients, BD and networking are vital if you want to progress to Partner.
The Firm & Role
The firm works flexibly and welcomes candidates who are seeking part-time as well as full-time.
Your working dynamic will be driven and designed by you. This is a firm who adopt a firm wide remote policy that works in harmony across the board. There are no requirements in relation to a particular number of days in the office.
Focusing purely on contentious construction work, the teams panel appointments mean you will have the opportunity to work on high value, complex instructions.
Recent work the team has done includes advising on £20m-£30m disputes.
In a team made up of several partners, there are ambitions to grow with the right people. They are well positioned in the market, with stready streams of work coming. They are geared towards supporting the growth and development of an Associate/Senior Associate to progress into more senior positions.
You
You will be an ambitious Construction Disputes Associate/Senior Associate. The ability to work in a team well is a necessity.
The ability to manage your own time efficiently, possess excellent drafting and legal analysis skills and have an ability to liaise effectively with clients is essential.
You will have a strong track record working in contentious construction law.
