This is a rare opportunity to play a key role in developing a brand-new specialist SEND provision within an exceptional mainstream primary school. The position will begin on a part-time basis (3 days per week) and offers the chance to help design and shape a provision from the ground up alongside a highly supportive leadership team. The Role From September 2026, the school will open its first specialist SEND class, supporting 10 pupils within Early Years. Many of the children have autism and sensory needs, and the provision has been carefully planned to ensure the right environment, resources and staffing are in place for them to thrive. You will be the lead teacher within the classroom, working alongside another teacher who will cover the remaining two days each week. Together you will co-teach and collaboratively develop the curriculum and structure of the provision.
