Ribbons & Reeves are seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive Secondary School in Lambeth. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate with a strong academic background and a passion for supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities.
Role Overview – SEND Teaching Assistant:
* Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with a range of additional learning needs
* Work closely with the SENCO and teaching staff to deliver tailored support plans
* Help to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
* Support pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural development
What we're looking for - SEND Teaching Assistant:
* Minimum 2:1 degree in a related subject
* Genuine passion for working with young people with SEND
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Empathetic, patient, and resilient approach to supporting learners
* Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential
