The Role
Reporting to the CEO, the Marketing Manager plays a key role in driving awareness of the products, services and key events in-store as well as acting as the champion for the newly created Stamp brand internally and externally.
This role will bring retail marketing expertise into the team, supporting the planning and execution of impactful marketing plans, promoting the right products, at the right time, in the right places to appeal to our broad range of customers.
You will work closely with the retail and buying teams to plan in-store marketing, online campaigns, new store launches and community engagement initiatives, working closely with the Content Creator & Community Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the strategic owner and author of the UOE/Stamp Marketing Plans, ensuring alignment with overarching business objectives and commercial priorities
* Champion the evolution of the way that the UOE/Stamp brands turn up in all channels including making recommendations for efficiency improvements, driving the digital transition for the brand and developing the brand.
* Provide direct line management and strategic oversight to marketing team members and external agency partners
* Set and manage the marketing budget, reporting back on marketing performance from spend
* Ensure all key trading moments (Christmas, Mother’s Day etc.) are well executed within a 360-market activation plan
* Working with key stakeholders in the Transformation team and the Post Office, you will develop tailored local marketing campaigns to support the opening / relaunch of each individual retail site as a programme of investment rolls out
What We're Looking For
* A minimum of 5 years of relevant hands-on marketing experience in a bricks & mortar retail business
* Min. 2 years’ experience in line management
* Commercially aware and literate – comfortable digging into performance data and making recommendations
* Experience in turning ideas / opportunities into tangible marketing strategies and plans
* Experience in collaborating with senior internal stakeholders
* Welcoming and inclusive interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building successful collaborative relationships.
