37 hours per week. Term time plus 2 weeks. We are looking to appoint a competent and dedicated School Office Manager. As School Office Manager, you will hold a key post of responsibility within the school. Reporting directly to the Headteacher, you will be responsible for ensuring non-teaching aspects of the school run efficiently and effectively. You will also have line-management responsibility for the administration and site staff. Your core responsibilities will be: to support the Headteacher on finance, human resources, health & safety, premises management, whole-school administration, and marketing the promotion of the school aims, objectives and ethos assisting in the monitoring and evaluation of performance and processes ensuring specific day-to-day functions of the school run smoothly establishing good working relationships with all stake holders and external agencies sound experience of financial management and budgetary planning and control experience of human resources management an excellent working knowledge of ICT systems; including FMS and preferably a knowledge of SIMS software This role is integral to our school, and the right candidate will have experience in a similar role. The role requires you to be a highly organised, motivated and enthusiastic individual with a keen interest in making a difference to the school’s outcomes. You should be able to use your initiative, have a relentless drive for excellence, work flexibly, with integrity and under pressure. Attention to detail and being process driven will be essential to being successful in this role.
