The Role
The Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer will maintain, install, and refurbish fabric and equipment across the GBS UK estates portfolio. They will monitor the condition of GBS buildings, undertake repairs and renovations, and assist Estates and Facilities in the planning of refurbishment projects. Travel to other campuses may be required. The role demands flexible working to accommodate business operations, covering 40‑hour weeks, Monday to Sunday, 7:00 am to 9:30 pm, with occasional out‑of‑hours work.

Experience And Skills Required
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification
* City & Guilds Level 2 and/or Level 3 in Electrical Installations, or equivalent NVQ, or equivalent experience
* Previous experience in building maintenance including M&E systems
* Manual skills, knowledge of refurbishment techniques
* Flexible and proactive approach, “can‑do” attitude
* Familiarity with COSHH requirements for equipment and chemicals
* Interpersonal skill, ability to work independently and as part of the wider facilities team
* Full, Clean Driving Licence
