AOI Operator / Inspector Location: Shefford Permanent, Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm £29,000 – £35,000 per annum (DOE) + Overtime + Annual Profit Share We are currently recruiting for an experienced AOI Operator / Inspector to join our client's quality and production team. This is a key role within the electronics manufacturing operation, focused on the inspection of PCB assemblies and electronic products to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities * Operate and run Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) machinery * Conduct thorough inspection of: * Populated Surface Mount (SMT) and Conventional PCB Assemblies * Cable assemblies, harnesses, and unit builds * Perform first-off inspection and in-process checks to component level * Identify and report faults to production teams in a clear and constructive manner * Use optical tools and magnification for detailed inspections * Maintain inspection records and ensure quality documentation is up to date * Occasionally assist the Surface Mount department with final checks * Support packing and dispatch tasks for UK/local shipments as needed Skills & Experience Required * Proven experience in AOI inspection within a PCB production environment * Strong understanding of electronic ass...
