Job Description
* Preparation of detailed overhead performance analysis for the group’s central functions with supporting commentary
* Balance Sheet accounting, including producing comprehensive balance sheet reconciliations
* Ownership of the UK Velos process & PAYE Settlement Agreement submission; including correct P&L allocation; utilisation of Klippa to audit expenses and full creditors reconciliation
* Continuous improvement of systems and processes to ensure strong controls and efficiencies
* Introduction to business partnering with non-finance colleagues to gain an in-depth knowledge and understanding of cost drivers within your remit
* Assist the Head of Finance with the group overheads 5-year strategic plan
* Assist with audits, corporate tax returns and statutory account queries
* Proactively engage with projects as and when required, providing a strong base for the continued rapid growth of the business
Qualifications
* Excel skills – ability to manipulate large data sets
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Experience of fostering strong working relationships within the finance team and across the organisation.
* Strong academic background particularly mathematics
* Ability to achieve multiple competing deadlines
* Desire to learn and progress a Finance career
* Experience of Sage or similar accounting system would be desirable
* Experience of management accounting would be desirable
* Strong technical accounting skills would be desirable
* Ability to adapt to a fast-growing business environment
