Job Overview
We're delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Service Manager to join our team, supporting our services across Plymouth. This is a full time (37.5 hours per week) fixed-term position for 6 months. This is fantastic opportunity for someone ready to take the next step in their career and further their professional development.
A full UK driving licence is essential, as the role requires travel between multiple services.
As an Assistant Service Manager you will report to the Service Manager, working alongside them to help support a team of Support Workers and ensure the smooth running of the service.
Key Responsibilities
* Have strong communication skills with the people we support, colleagues and other stakeholders.
* Be confident to support with leading and managing a team.
* Be flexible, ensuring there is adequate support across the management team on site.
* Previous supervisory experience is desirable but not essential.
* Be IT literate.
* To be confident in being able to work using a computer and electronic systems.
* Support the Service Manager with agreed management tasks.
* Support the team with their development.
* Ensuring compliance across the team and service.
