Person Specification
* Experience in Positive Behaviour Training
* Experience supporting Young People of Mixed Sex
* Experience managing Emotional Behaviour Disorder
* Experience dealing with low to high Mental Health Needs
* Ability to develop support plans to meet changing needs in daily life
* Encourage young people to make independent choices and step out of their comfort zones to learn new skills and become active community members
* Background in Children Residential Homes, YOT, County Lines, Mental Health, & Autism is advantageous
Requirements
* Minimum of 1 year experience working with children
* Ability to provide 3 years of references
* Minimum qualification: NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People
* Enhanced DBS check required (£50 fee unless on update service)
Role Details
- Flexible shifts: Mon - Sun, 07:30 - 20:00, 20:00 - 07:30 (Waking Night), 19:30 - 23:00 + Sleep-in until 07:30
- Pension scheme
- Competitive hourly rate: £13.00
