What is required from you
- A minimum of 12 months right to work in the UK
- 36 hours per week, including alternate weekends
- At least 2 years experience working in a care setting
- NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care
A day in the life of a Senior Care Assistant (Nights)
- Person‑centred care – provide bathing, dressing and oral care, promoting choice and independence
- Review – contribute to and carry out care reviews with residents to ensure plans reflect their needs
- Medication – administer residents’ medication safely and in compliance
- Social activity – lead and participate in trips out, social engagements and activities within the home
- Leadership – support new starters or staff with shadowing and development; may lead the home when senior managers are unavailable
