GM Active are seeking a highly skilled ExerciseSpecialist/Physiologist to join the multi-award winning Prehab4Cancer programme.This is an exciting opportunity to join a team that cares deeply aboutimproving the lives of people effected by cancer in Greater Manchester. Thescheme empowers patients to take back control of their diagnosis, buildresilience ahead of intense cancer related treatment and improve patientsquality of life.

Increasingly, exercise and physical activity is seenas standard elements of patient care across cancer treatment pathways. ThePrehab4Cancer programme delivers to patients, a multimodal prehab and rehabintervention. Patients are referred directly from primary care to be supportedwith an exercise, nutrition and wellbeing programme, before and after treatmentto improve individual health outcomes. The scheme is independently evaluated () and has proved outstanding results.

Receiving guidance and support from the ProgrammeManager, you will be an integral part of the specialist Prehab4Cancer coredelivery team coordinating and delivering a varied and insight driven prehaband rehab programme for cancer patients. This role will incorporate both faceto face delivery and remote delivery so will have an element of home working.
The post holder will manage the project in a definedgeographical area of Greater Manchester during times of annual leave or whenthe service demands.
The successfulpost holder will join the Prehab4Cancer core delivery team which is housedwithin Salford Community Leisure (SCL).
