Teaching Assistant – Croydon
Pay: £14.17 – £15.55 per hour
Contract: Temporary (until the end of the academic year) with the potential for a permanent contract
We’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a warm and inclusive primary school in Croydon. This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils in a positive learning environment where children are ambitious and the school community is supportive and nurturing.
What you’ll be doing:
* Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups to access the curriculum
* Assisting teachers with classroom activities and differentiated learning tasks
* Helping create an inclusive classroom environment where all pupils can thrive
* Supporting pupils with their social, emotional, and academic development
* Working collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to support pupil progress
What we’re looking for:
* Previous experience supporting pupils in a school or educational setting
* Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification preferred
* Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for helping children achieve their potential
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
