Our client is a well-established organisation currently seeking an experienced Procurement Coordinator / Buyer to join their growing team.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting procurement operations, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring purchasing processes run efficiently to support wider business operations.

Key Responsibilities
Negotiate pricing and commercial terms with suppliers
Source and evaluate new suppliers where required
Work with internal teams to forecast purchasing requirements
Raise purchase orders and monitor supplier delivery schedules
Communicate supply risks and opportunities to the wider business
Support logistics planning to help reduce operational costs
Maintain accurate costing and transactional data within the ERP system
Complete supplier onboarding and due diligence checks
Assist with month-end purchasing administration
Ensure purchasing records are maintained accurately and efficiently
Skills & Experience Required
Previous experience within a procurement, purchasing, or buying role
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively
High attention to detail and administrative accuracy
Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
Experience using ERP systems is desirable
Manufacturing or industrial sector experience would be advantageous
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
Self-motivated with a proactive and solutions-focused approach
Additional Information
This role may require occasional travel between sites and supplier locations. Flexibility to work additional hours when required is expected
