We are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a leading food manufacturer at their Daventry site. This is a permanent role offering stability, development opportunities, and an excellent benefits package.
Location: Daventry
Hours: Monday - Friday (8-hour shifts but choose your hours between 9am - 7pm)
Salary: £46,000 per year + Bonus Scheme
Contract: Permanent
Duties:
Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across a variety of machinery and equipment.
Perform electrical fault finding and mechanical diagnostics.
Support production teams with machine inspections and basic maintenance.
Liaise with contractors and technicians during maintenance and utility-related activities.
Ensure accurate recording of maintenance tasks on the company system.
Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives including 5S and RCA.
Maintain tools, equipment, and facilities in good working condition.
Participate in small-scale engineering projects as required.The ideal candidate must:
Have completed a time-served apprenticeship or hold relevant engineering qualifications.
Hold 17th/18th Edition certification.
Have proven experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance (food manufacturing experience desirable).
Be capable of working independently with strong self-management skills.
Have excellent communication skills and a flexible approach to working hours.
Demonstrate a proactive, team-oriented attitude with strong attention to detail.Benefits:
