Main purpose of the job:
As a dedicated member of our SIPP administration team, you will undertake day-to-day administration work, processing requests with vigilance and caution while going the extra mile. You will support our client and adviser needs with the highest professional standards, ensuring all aspects of the role are met by following our brand and company guidelines.
This role involves dealing with internal teams and external entities such as financial advisers and investment providers regularly.
It is an excellent opportunity for someone with prior experience in the pensions industry who is diligent, possesses strong communication skills, has technical knowledge, is focused and committed, comfortable working with numbers, and can contribute to the team's continuous improvement.
Responsibilities include:
1. Day-to-day administration of SIPPs
2. Processing new business applications to completion
3. Completing transfers and investment applications
4. Processing payments to investment providers and financial advisers
5. Processing investment withdrawals timely
6. Handling general servicing processes such as LOAs, FSCS claims, DSARs, and contact detail changes
7. Timely communication with advisers and members regarding requests
8. Tracking requests until completion
9. Participating in departmental projects
10. Administering other aspects of SIPP and SSAS workloads, including property portfolios
11. Building relationships with advisers and clients, delivering excellent communication and service
12. Sharing knowledge and supporting less experienced team members
13. Ensuring compliance with SLAs
14. Maintaining Quality Assurance standards
15. Embedding risk management practices
16. Resolving complaints effectively
Skills required:
1. Strong SIPP knowledge and experience
2. Effective contribution to wider business success
3. Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
4. Confidence and ability to ask questions
5. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
7. Fluent and positive communication skills
8. Excellent numerical and customer service skills
9. Understanding of SIPP rules and ability to perform calculations
10. Understanding of investment transactions and non-standard investments
11. Aptitude for learning new skills, processes, and systems
