Role Overview: An Advanced Timetable Analyst works with the System Operator teams to analyse capacity, inform investment decisions and help shape the railway’s long‑term strategy. The role involves analysing data, presenting evidence, and collaborating with stakeholders across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct capacity analysis to evaluate the impact of proposed timetable changes.
* Prepare evidence, recommendations and supporting documents for senior strategy teams.
* Engage with customers and stakeholders to understand needs and build collaborative relationships.
* Work within agreed timelines and maintain quality standards for analyses.
* Identify and support business, cultural or process improvements.
Training & Development: During the first 14‑18 weeks you will complete an extensive training programme, gaining technical expertise and soft‑skill development, culminating in a professional accreditation from the Chartered Institute of Railway Operators. Training commences on Monday 6 July 2026.

* Strong analytical skills demonstrated through past experience or education.
* Experience working with multiple sources of information.
* Proven ability to engage with customers and build collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
* Proven experience delivering within agreed timelines and standards.
* Experience identifying and supporting business, cultural or process improvements.
