A Brief Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY:Are you passionate about supporting families during challenging transitions? Join SPCC as a part-time Court-Related Visitation Specialist, where you will provide supervised visitation and safe exchange services for families impacted by trauma, intimate partner violence, high-conflict custody matters, and attachment disruptions. In this role, you will coach and support parent-child visits to strengthen bonds while maintaining a child-focused, trauma-informed approach. You will also collaborate with community partners and the court system to ensure safety, support, and consistency for families navigating complex circumstances.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

* Provide supervision, coaching, and support during parent-child visits
* Complete all aspects of case management: orientation, visit notes, court reports, and assessments
* Communicate with case workers, attorneys, and other professionals involved in each case
* Attend court hearings, case conferences, and reviews related to visitation, as needed
* Offer safety planning, advocacy, and referrals tailored to each family’s needs
* Maintain accurate and confidential case records in compliance with agency policies
* Submit monthly program statistics to the Program Manager
* Ensure clean, safe, and welcoming visitation environments
* Engage in regular individual and group supervision, and participate in ongoing training aligned with trauma-informed and reflective practices
Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Bachelor's degree in social work or related field, e.g., psychology, sociology and/or counseling, with a minimum of two years' experience working with children and families preferred. In lieu of a four-year degree, candidates with a minimum of five years’ experience working with children and families who have experienced trauma may be considered.
* Intimate partner violence and/or parent education experience preferred.
