Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Contract Manager to support Operations Procurement within the Security Screening category team at Heathrow. The role involves ensuring a top airport experience for passengers while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and leading in aviation security.
The Contract Manager will oversee multiple projects in a dynamic environment, focusing on sourcing, procurement, contract assurance, and post-contract activities. Key responsibilities include managing end-to-end procurement processes, contract delivery, supplier relationships, and sustainability initiatives. The role also involves monitoring contract compliance within governance frameworks.
You will support activities such as:
* Pre-contracting strategies
* Supplier negotiations
* Drafting and executing Framework Agreements
* Managing work packages and standalone agreements, including amendments and governance support
Working closely with stakeholders, you will aim to maximize value, reduce risks, and deliver benefits through cost savings, improved operations, and strong supplier relationships.
Responsibilities
* Developing and negotiating contractual documentation in collaboration with legal teams
* Creating category plans and strategies to present to senior stakeholders, utilizing innovative commercial models and market trends
* Executing sourcing activities following Heathrow's governance procedures
* Managing supplier relationships, claims, benefits, and continuous improvement targets
* Owning the SRM process for key stakeholders up to the Executive level
Qualifications
* Proven experience managing the full procurement lifecycle and contracting models
* Expertise in contract drafting, management, and negotiation
* Experience handling multiple projects, meeting stakeholder requirements and KPIs
* Strong contract and supplier management skills
* Excellent stakeholder management and requirements gathering abilities

Working Location
