KS2 Teacher – South Tyneside (Long-Term Role)

What the role looks like as a KS2 Teacher
You’ll take the lead with a KS2 class on a full-time basis, planning lessons that stretch pupils at just the right level and supporting them through the key skills they need for their next steps. You’ll be joining a supportive, friendly school with a strong focus on teamwork and wellbeing.
The role involves close collaboration with your phase team, shared planning and a commitment to helping every child feel valued and ready to learn.
Your main responsibilities as a KS2 Teacher
1. Planning and delivering creative, well-structured KS2 lessons
2. Monitoring progress and adapting your approach to individual needs
3. Creating a calm, organised learning environment
4. Supporting positive behaviour with consistency and clear expectations
5. Working closely with teaching assistants and other staff
6. Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils and families

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
